飯島愛自傳體的【柏拉圖式性愛】一書，不但在日本暢銷百萬冊，在台灣也攻下各實體書店及網路書店的排行榜之列，銷售高達15萬冊！2001年來台舉辦簽名會的她，更攻佔當時的所有媒體，鋒芒蓋過同時來台的諾貝爾文學獎得主高行健，掀起一陣『飯島愛旋風』！
Call流行通訊的應用延伸刊物【鈴聲編曲】特輯推出後，頗受年輕消費族群的喜愛，尖端出版開創新產品的能力再次得到青少年市場的認同。

【Play綜藝王】5月改版，不只提供樂訊，還有一籮筐的韓、日、港、台、西洋偶像哈燒熱報。 瘦身天后張淳淳【一分鐘前凸後翹．瘦】一書，揭開了全台瘦身熱戰！不但坊間類似的著作不斷跟風，甚至書中的道具瘦身球也成為全台五金行的熱銷商品！
因同名韓劇的爆紅，【藍色生死戀】一書也因而洛陽紙貴，更帶動全台韓劇小說的閱讀高峰！
