 卡牌遊戲 trading card game |
1996年夏天，本公司首度引進在國外風行已久的集換式卡片遊戲（Trading card game，簡稱TCG，有收藏及遊戲的功能），這舉動不但跳脫了出版的範疇，顯示本公司多角化經營的能力之外，在青少年娛樂業界也造成相當程度的話題，也造就了日後卡片遊戲的風潮。在經過10年的深耕，本公司已成為這業界的泰斗。目前台灣最為流行的TCG為本公司所代理之日本BANDAI公司所發行的GUNDAMWAR（中譯︰鋼彈大戰），鋼彈這題材在台灣相當受到青少年的喜愛。本公司也引進適合較低年齡層的少年，且相當受歡迎的Pokemon TCG（中譯︰神奇寶貝），讓青少年有機會享受各種不同的遊戲感覺。
In 1996, SPP first introduced trading card games, which had been caught well among international players and also well accepted among Taiwan teen players now. SPP thus started to extend teen entertainment products besides publishing and prove its flexibility in business management. After 10 years of hardworking, SPP TCG products remain its superiority as a leader in Taiwan market. The most popular TCG product at present is the Japan authorized one, Gundamwar, which has become teens' favorite in Taiwan. SPP also has introduced other TCG series such as the famous Pokemon TCG for younger groups.
